The Phoenix Police Department wants to thank Typhoon Cooling for the use of their misting trailer during an event to raise money for an officer who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease. This event was in June with 100 plus degree heat and held on an asphalt surface. Tommy started the misting trailer and I was immediately cool. The trailer was a hit and people flocked to it. Sweat turned to smiles. Thank you Tommy we will call you again.

Recently Typhoon Cooling was used as part of the firefighter rehab station during a 2 alarm blaze in one of the Phoenix industrial areas. Captain Timothy Durby was overheard remarking that it was amazing that for a day with 114 degree heat, that the temperature within 6 inches of the mist fan was a refreshing 70 degrees. Although not everyone stands right in the mist as a firefighter would, the decreased temperatures radiate outward up to as much as 15 feet wide and 65 feet deep creating a “Cool Zone”.  The temperature of the “Cool Zone” that is created will vary based on weather conditions and proximity to the Typhoon Cooling trailer . 

VTT & Associates just used the Typhoon Cooling system for a high school graduation party.  The “Cool Zone” was greatly appreciated by the family members from California & Missouri.  They were not prepared for our Arizona heat and what a lifesaver the Typhoon Cooling trailer was for them all! CRIS TUTERA, VTT & Associates Event Coordinator

Recently, we had the Typhoon Cooling system at the inaugural Peoria Spring Festival event.  It kept the outdoor event much cooler and bearable.
Our event guests were raving about how “cool” it was - definitely a necessary element to any AZ event.
